EPA’s Energy Star is a government-backed program that helps businesses protect the environment through superior energy efficiency that results in reduced operating costs. Foodservice operators that choose Infinity Fryers, a certified Energy Star product, will experience significant savings on their energy bills, along with other Infinity’s high performance features that offer extended shortening life, faster filtering and lower free fatty acids in fried products.
The Energy Star certification was backed by performance tests carried out by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s Foodservice Technology Center, one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States. The report concluded “when cooking, the Infinity achieved high cooking energy efficiencies that place it in the top percentile of fryers tested in the Foodservice Technology Center.” PG&E also found that “with virtually instant recovery, the fryer can meet the demands of the busiest operating schedules.”
Aga Foodservice reiterates its support to energy-saving programs that will not only benefit the foodservice operator with increased savings, but that will ultimately protect the environment without sacrificing quality or product features. “We are committed to continue developing energy-efficient products for the foodservice industry, making a positive impact to the environment while substantially reducing foodservice operators’ energy costs”, said Iain J. Whyte, President of Aga Foodservice, Inc. |
